Port of Portland - Make The Queen's Guard Laugh

The ask

In 2018 Delta Airlines’ nonstop flight from PDX to London was coming back and both the Port of Portland and the airline wanted to make a big splash in Portland. 

What we did

We livened up downtown Portland by bringing in a Queen’s Guard, challenging locals to make him laugh for a chance to win tickets on a new nonstop flight. Our social media ads buzzed with excitement, inviting everyone to Director Park for the event. The fun didn't stop there; we captured the day's best moments into a recap video, amplified by social ads to boost engagement. This campaign not only broke records with 18k email signups, the highest ever for a contest at the airport, but also the videos hit 1.2 million impressions and drove 53k clicks to the website, marking a massive engagement success.
